Coach Insurance
Professional Indemnity insurance indemnifies the insured against claims for compensation for breach of professional duty by reason of any negligence by way of act, error, omission or advice. This is a minimum cover that protects the coaches only, not the participants. If you would like more information about SbA's Insurance visit www.ieabrokers.com.au
All accredited coaches MUST declare their coaching hours and agree to run their sessions in accordance with SbA's risk management structure to obtain professional indemnity for the duration of their coaching sessions.
At least one week before you undertake a coaching session please download, complete and fax/mail the Coaching Activities Form to Skateboarding Australia. Skateboarding Australia will notify you of receipt of this form and your hours will be recorded on the coaching database. In the event of a claim during the declared time your insurance will be active.
