Liverpool Plains Shire Council hosted a two-day Streetwise in Quirindi, Rural NSW. Owen Ward and Brad Stock of Newcastle Skate Shop traveled a fair few kilometers to get out there, and were greeted with an minimalistic skate park.

*Quirindi skatepark. You can see Owen knackered after a day of teaching kickturns.
Quirindi kids who were trying skateboarding for the first time were lucky as Owen brought up a bunch of spare setups from the shop for them to use. All SbA's skateboards were already in use elsewhere, a testament to our demand in Youth Week. Unfortunately, the photos Brad took on his proper camera, not his iphone, disappeared. Belinda EyKamp, of the Liverpool Plains Shire Council was very happy with how the weekend went, kids and parents alike leaving satified.
