After a ten week assault of Australia's states and territories the qualifiers for the SbA Dew Series had been selected and the list for the final had been established. For the SbA crew it has been a fierce nine weeks that have taken us to every single state and one territory. This past Saturday we rolled into the final stop for the qualification rounds of the 2011 SbA Dew Series.

This past Saturday the SbA Dew Amateur series rolled into Australia's biggest city: old Sydney town. The NSW qualifier was held at the much-loved Fernside park, aka Waterloo. The square assortment of banks, rails, hubbas and ledges acted as a perfect setting for the jam format contest.

While the masses crammed into the streets, venues and performance spaces for Adelaide’s Fringe Festival, we held our own celebration down at the City Park this past Saturday. It coincided with the fifth State Qualification round for this year’s SbA Dew series which was falling in Adelaide’s lap this week.

Saturday the 12th of February saw the SbA Dew series pull into Tasmania’s picturesque Devonport park. The skatepark there seriously has one of the best beachside settings you will ever see in Australia. The serenity was so thick that it literally could be seen dripping off everyone present.

This Saturday saw the Victorian round of the SbA Dew series go down at the often-overlooked Clifton Hill skatepark. Clifton is a street plaza boasting loads of ledges and manual pads as well as an absolutely epic view of the city of Melbourne.

Saturday the 22nd of January saw the ACT round of the SbA Dew series held at the ridiculously epic Woden skatepark. I had peeped some clips of the park prior to this weekend, but nothing could prepare me for what they created in Woden just over a year ago.
